Grayson Sanders of Snowmine @ Glasslands Gallery
is curating & headlining four nights at Piano’s in New York City’s Lower East Side. Kicking off February 2, 2012, each night will feature three supporting acts and be co-presented by a different partner including ExFm
(2/2), The Wild Honey Pie
(2/9), The Deli NYC
(2/16), and Pulp Lab
This residency is a followup to Snowmine’s PopGun presents
headlined show at Glasslands Gallery this past January. Their killer performance was picked up by Earmilk, who took the time to interview
the group. “…”Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough”. Now replace “good whiskey” with “Snowmine
“ and it is something we can barely get enough of.”
Additionally, the group is gearing up for SXSW and an upcoming tour in the South & Midwest. Stay tuned for confirmed showcases and tour dates.
Snowmine is a five-piece band that embraces an indie pop sound rich with echo pedals, tribal beats, electro-acoustic soundscapes and classical orchestrations. The band is fronted by new-classical composer Grayson Sanders, whose vocals have been compared to Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes, and Jim James of My Morning Jacket.
