We'll debut items from the Ghosts in the Garden fashion collection - including the dress designed by Sweet P who was a surprise guest on Bravo's "Top Design" last week. We've been invited to lead Pulp Lab's "My Favorite Things" tour of the SAM Permanent Collection during the event. It should be a fun and laid-back stroll through the galleries as we explore how items from the Permanent Collection connect with the themes of the Ghosts in the Garden designs. SAM's First Friday REMIX night is free with museum admission. DJ SunTzu Sound returns to REMIX with its cosmic blend of urban cultures and organic rhythms. Immerse yourself in visual art, mingle with friends and enjoy cocktails from TASTE Bar. Details here

"Ghosts in the Garden" collection Popping-up across Seattle in October

Preview the Ghosts in the Garden capsule collection at a series of pop-up events in October. Today middlemen and traders export most of Africa’s cotton to other countries instead of processing it at home. This means that Africans are tasked with the hardest part—growing and harvesting the cotton—but they receive the least economic benefit. The real money is made in the rest of the manufacturing process. At the same time, factories where the shirts could be cut and sewn, in major cities such as Kampala in Uganda and Maseru in Lesotho, are left underutilized. By supporting the African apparel industry, we are creating employment and contributing to a solution. Their philosophy and products have their origin in the work of 16th century Italian herbalists, physicians and herbalist monks from celebrated monasteries. Their comprehensive line of products was originally available only custom-made in local pharmacies and herb shops in Italy.

Erbe controls every aspect of resourcing & production, and are deeply involved in every aspect of production and packaging. They not only know which herbs are used, but often the region and even the fields where they were grown and harvested.

This small Italian skin care company develops products that are informed by the accumulation of information that has been researched, tested, improved over hundreds of years. Learn more >

'80's Soho and Erbe
Back when SoHo was still a place for artists, Erbe Spa opened on Prince Street.
