Henrik Vibskov‘s funky, colorful aesthetic perfectly matches the experimental record label behind recently retired LCD Soundsystem, DFA. Mr. Justin Miller, himself, will provide music along with Mr V and Mikkel Hess at 456 Broome Street, this Friday for a Grand Opening. Get ready to explore Mr. Vibskov’s eccentric universe, upfront and personal.
From Vibskov’s blog, “So, finally it worked out. We’ve been looking up and down the streets of Nolita, the Lower East side, NoHo, Soho, Tribeca, and finally, finally, we found this perfect little pearl of a shop. Directly opposite our favorite deli, Gourmet Garage, in SoHo. 456 Broome Street is where you’ll find the new Henrik Vibskov boutique. It’s cosy, as we often say in Denmark. I guess it’s a fairly classic SoHo house. An 850 square foot space (like 80m2 i guess) with high ceilings and a mezzanine. Alongside our own collection will be some of our favourite designers, some of whom we are stocking in our Copenhagen and Oslo stores. We can’t wait to open!” (& neither can we).
